About Us
Hi there! I’m Ashley, owner, and operator of Airborne Balloons & Events. I’ll be your first point of contact and the one who designs and installs your balloon décor!
I grew up surrounded by a family of creatives and entrepreneurs, from the clothing stores that my grandparents and mother owned, to the experimental aircraft my grandfather built on a stage, creativity has always been in my blood. I operated an event planning company after college and thoroughly enjoyed bringing my clients’ visions to life, but after having kids I took a break and transitioned to interior design so that I could spend more time with my family. Focused on senior housing design, my biggest joy came from the smile on residents’ faces when we transformed their formerly dreary and outdated homes into vibrant sanctuaries.
Fast forward a few years (or quite a few), my four boys are older, and we’re throwing a 90th birthday party for their great-grandmother in a gorgeous senior living community, and I build a balloon arch. That was it, I was hooked. The idea of bringing smiles to the faces of senior citizens and planning events was too much to pass up! So, with memories of helping my grandfather with that plane in the heart of an old theatre, Airborne Balloons & Events took flight!
